Unearthed from Belgian soil, Verslinder is a fresh addition to the black metal scene. Verslinder is a solo project by Michel Brouwers (ex-Chimaera). He single-handedly took on instrumentals, lyrics and backing vocals. The work is topped off by the raw vocals of Kristian Brynjulfsen, originating from the cradle of death/black metal, Bergen (Norway). The EP is mixed by Michel and Jens Wouters. The EP has also been mastered by Jens at the Larsson studio (Aarschot, BE).

Verslinder is influenced by bands such as Mayhem, Immortal, Emperor, ... This becomes clear in the way Verslinder embodies a dark spirit with its gritty, sinister atmosphere and references to the occult.
Other than ominous undertones and signs of impending doom, Verslinder’s songs are also defined by their merciless brutality with an occasional melodic touch.
